Loan a hand cycle

NEW in 2025. We have started a small scale hand cycle loan scheme. This is open to anyone who has a physical disability. We are hoping that we can help more people experience the thrill and freedom of hand cycling via this route. However there are some things to consider, so please read on..

How the scheme works

We have a wide range of hand cycles, some of them are available on loan on a short term basis (we are talking weeks, rather than months). Are you looking to complete a challenge? Have you been injured and are looking for an alternative to help recover? Have you a disabled pupil or student who is looking to participants in a school event? These are the kinds of scenarios that would suit this scheme.

Costs

We charge a security deposit plus a weekly rental. Contact us to fund out more.

What you get

• Bike hire (we loan both manual and power assist bikes)

• Safety gear (helmet, safety flag)
• Training and fitting (we would ask you to come for a bike fitting and a basic training session)
